Neil Patel once said that the biggest skill that people need to focus on in 2023 is analytics and data.

As for me, I cracked this code early in 2016.

And today, I have my own agency, which manages Facebook ads for big companies, and I have successfully managed to increase their ROAS by 7x!

I took up digital marketing as a career when it was booming, and here’s what I have learned in my journey so far:

We live in a world where it is hard to stand out with your skills.

People are often neglected of their potential in their fields because every domain has already been taken over by industry experts.

I think the easiest way to come across this loop is by hacking into an industry that is not so popular among the masses right now.

Yes, you heard me right.

Hack into a new industry,

Work hard into it. (Super hard)

And you can reach the top 1% of that industry.

In fact, if you play your cards right, there might be a day when that field will be known by your name.

I did the same when I stepped into digital marketing, and today, I can confidently say that this was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

So for a person who’s not so privileged to come to the top, the easiest way would be to choose a fairly new field that has a high chance of booming in the future, like Metaverse and the most burning thing like Chat GPT API.

So my point is, hack into a new industry, learn the essential skills and you can be the next big name.

How can you balance your content marketing funnel?

Before starting this method, open up an excel.

Divide your content into three stages.

1. Top of the funnel content (Awareness stage)

2. Middle of the funnel (Consideration stage)

3. Bottom of the funnel (Buying stage)

You can increase the stages depending upon your knowledge of the business.

Now put your content in excel and in one column, state the stage to where the content belongs to. (TOFU, MOFU or BOFU)

Now using that column make a pie chart.

This will show you the clear weightage of TOFU, MOFU and BOFU.

Now go to your marketing goals and find out which kind of content from the three stages will repair the maximum leakage?

Put more content in that stage.

I learned this from the digital marketer website and do it for all the marketing channels.

It can be used to design campaigns, allocate budget, emails and a lot more.
