What’s the most surprising, impressive, or unbelievable part of your product or story?

This becomes your opening shot.
Step 2: Show It First (0-3 Seconds)
No setup. No context. Just drop them into the most interesting moment.
Examples:

Step 3: Create the Rewind
Now that you have their attention, rewind and build the story.

Step 4: Deliver the How
Now you’ve earned the right to explain. Show:

1. Pattern Interrupt Starting with the result breaks the expected ad format. Your brain has to pay attention because it doesn’t know what’s happening yet.
2. Curiosity Gap When you show the “after” without the “before,” people NEED to know how you got there. They stay to close the loop.
3. Instant Gratification People want to know “what’s in it for me” immediately. Starting with the payoff answers that question in the first 3 seconds.
4. Proof Before Promise Instead of making a claim you need to prove, you show proof first—then explain the claim. This flips skepticism into curiosity.
