1. Thumbnail score:
I’m giving this a solid 4 out of 5.
The headline grabs your attention by highlighting a key product benefit that people in this category actually want. It then translates the features into clear benefits, written in language the customer understands.
Many brands forget that their product is secondary to the customer’s needs. The product should fit into or disrupt their life in a way that solves a problem or offers gratification.
I deducted one point because the ad includes too many pointers—using more than four is risky, since most consumers can’t focus on so many points at once. On the plus side, the ad uses numbers and reviews to add social proof, which helps lower the CPM.
2. Click Score:
I’m giving this a 3.5 out of 5.
The headline pulls you in, and the product benefits support the offer well. The ad builds FOMO by highlighting Ryze’s large customer base, which can boost CTR.
However, the rest of the elements don’t fully support this creative. The description exceeds Facebook’s character limit, so users won’t see all of it. The headline also isn’t remarkable enough.
A sales promotion or direct callout to the target audience might have worked better. The product page highlights a money-back guarantee and a 30-day trial offer. It’s a big miss not to mention that either the ad creative or description, especially for a new category like this.
3. Ugly Score:
This gets a solid 4 out of 5.
The product image and brand name stand out clearly, but the design goes beyond a standard ad. It looks more like an infographic, giving it a fresh, engaging feel. This unconventional style is exactly why the ad works.
4. Congruency Score:
This ad scores a perfect 5 out of 5 on congruency.
Clicking through lands you on a product page that matches the ad’s message exactly. The benefits align with those shown in the creative, and the page is clean, visually appealing, and easy to navigate. CTAs, customer reviews, and related products are all in the right places.
Caption:
The caption is well-written but lacks effective formatting, such as adequate line breaks and emojis, which would improve the click-through rate. Currently, benefits are lumped together in a paragraph which decrease the overall readability. Using bullet points here would make more sense. Additionally, a more compelling call-to-action is needed to maximize response.
How can you use this for your business?
1. When creating your ads, focus on how your product fits into your customer’s life or solves a specific problem. Avoid technical jargon—keep it relatable and straightforward.
2. Stick to a maximum of 3–4 key benefits. Your audience has limited attention, and giving them fewer points to focus on ensures your message is clear and memorable.
3. Highlighting numbers, reviews, or customer milestones like “100,000+ customers served” adds credibility and builds trust. Use these elements in your own ads to establish authority and reassure potential customers about your product’s value.
