1. Thumbnail score:
I’m giving this a good 4 out of 5. I’ve always stressed the importance of using testimonials in your ads—it boosts your brand’s credibility and impacts the purchase decisions of your potential customers.
This ad smartly incorporates a testimonial that tackles a common customer concern right off the bat, making it a real scroll-stopper.
2. Click Score:
This earns a 4 out of 5 from me. The ad cleverly highlights the product’s competitive pricing.
Additionally, this ad has a great amount of social proof, which adds to its credibility.
3. Ugly Score:
This is a 3.5 out of 5. The ad isn’t overly branded, which helps it blend in and not scream “ad.”
However, adding a pet to give more context to the product would have really taken it up a notch, making it feel even more relatable.
Caption:
The caption also earns a 4 out of 5.
It grabs your attention right from the get-go with a customer testimonial and builds on the product’s credibility by mentioning expert guidance.
I appreciate how it highlights the product benefits and sticks to one clear call to action. The paragraph spacing is on point, making it easy to digest. Just a splash of the right emojis, and it would have been perfect!
How can you use this for your business?
- Like this ad, use testimonials to address potential concerns directly in your thumbnail or early in the video. It’s about showing prospects that real people back your product and have had their issues resolved by it.
- Always point out what sets your pricing or product apart from competitors. If your product is more affordable or offers more value, make sure that it’s front and center to entice clicks.
- Make sure your caption is easy to read with proper spacing, and consider using emojis to draw attention and add personality.
